The Bloodsuckers – Moral Story for Kids

The Bloodsuckers – A moral story about patience and consequences.
Mr. Bedbug comfortably lives in the king’s royal bed.
Mr. Bedbug was a resident of the king’s royal bed.
Every night, the bedbug drinks the warm blood of the king.
Every night, as soon as the king fell asleep, the bedbug quietly sucked the thick, warm blood of the gallant king.
Mr. Flea visits his cousin and admires the king’s soft bed.
One day, Mr. Flea, a distant relative of Mr. Bedbug, came to visit him.
Bedbug brags that the king’s blood is rich and delicious.
He was amazed by the huge, soft bed Mr. Bedbug lived on.
The flea becomes eager to taste human blood for the first time.
“This is nothing! The king here is very healthy, and his blood is delicious—the best of all, I tell you,” boasted Mr. Bedbug.
Flea begs his cousin to let him bite the king just once.
Hearing this, Mr. Flea grew excited. He thought, “I’ve never tasted human blood, let alone a king’s! I must try it.”
Bedbug warns flea to wait until the king is asleep.
He said, “Cousin, please let me taste the king’s blood just once! I’m tired of feeding on animals.”
The tired king lies down after a long day at court.
Mr. Bedbug, being kind, agreed but warned him: “Remember, the king must be asleep before we bite him. Otherwise, he’ll call his servants to get rid of us.”
Two tiny insects wait eagerly for their chance to feed.
Mr. Flea promised to wait.
The impatient flea bites the king before he sleeps.
That night, the king returned to his room after a long day at court, exhausted.
The king wakes up shouting after feeling a sudden bite.
He lay down on his soft, cushiony bed—where two tiny bloodsuckers waited eagerly.
Servants search the bed to find what bit the king.
But Mr. Flea grew impatient. The moment the king settled, he bit him.
Flea hides safely while bedbug is discovered.
The king jolted upright.“Something has bitten me!” he shouted, and immediately called his servants to inspect the bed.
Servants crush the bedbug and confirm the bed is safe.
The servants searched everywhere.
The king lies down again, thinking the problem is solved.
Clever Mr. Flea hid in a dark wooden corner, but poor, slow Mr. Bedbug could not escape.
As soon as the king sleeps, the flea emerges from hiding.
The servants found him and crushed him instantly. “Your Majesty, the bed is safe now,” they said.
The flea feasts on the king’s blood without being caught.
The tired king lay down again, confident the danger was gone.
The flea becomes the new resident of the king’s royal bed.
As soon as he fell asleep, Mr. Flea crept out of hiding—and continued feasting on the king’s royal blood.
The flea survives by being clever, patient, and cautious.
He was now the new resident of the king’s bed.
