Drug interfere with the way neuron sending, receiving or processing information and it is occurring using neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters that modulates your mood.
Drugs like marijuana and heroin have a similar structure to chemical messengers that are neurotransmitters. These drugs can make fool the brain’s receptors and activate nerve cells to send the incorrect message.

For euphoria, dopamine is responsible and dopamine is a neurotransmitter. Euphoria gives the experience of pleasure, satisfaction, excitement, other activities like listening to music, laughing, dancing etc.
