King Vijayasena lives happily with his daughter Mauktika.
Once there was a king named Vijayasena who had a beautiful daughter named Mauktika.

A wicked creature disturbs the princess every evening.
Every evening, a wicked creature would come to her room and try to take her away.

The creature reappears while Mauktika sits with her beloved.
One day, while Mauktika was with her beloved, the creature appeared again. Her beloved became frightened when he saw the creature.

Princess asks her beloved to help drive the creature away.
Mauktika said, “It comes here every day at this time and troubles me. Please do something to make it go away.”

The foolish creature overhears and misunderstands their words.
Hearing this, the foolish creature thought, “Oh! So, there is another being like me who also comes here every night to take the princess away.

The creature transforms into a horse to hide in the stables.
But even he cannot succeed. I will transform into a horse and wait for him in the stables.”

A thief sneaks into the stables and notices the magical horse.
So, the creature transformed into a horse and stood among the other horses.

The thief mounts the creature-horse to steal it.

The creature panics, thinking the thief will harm it.

Terrified, the creature runs at extreme speed.

Seeing the monkey interfere, the thief grew angry and said, “Why is this monkey getting in my way? I’ll teach it a lesson!”

The frightened creature escapes from the dangerous thief.
He grabbed the monkey’s tail and slammed it onto the ground.

Terrified creature runs far from the stables and thieves.
Watching this, the creature panicked and thought: “This man is too powerful! I must run away from him!”
