The number of insects represents the greater value from which a smaller value (specified in the problems given below) have to be subtracted. In the initial worksheets, we have to start with easy sums to endow the child with confidence.

These graphics are supposed to aid your child’s imagination. It adds a pinch of creativity to a subject as objective as mathematics. You can employ them to your advantage. For example, you may want to ask your child “if in a group of 5 Bees, 1 Bee flies away, how many bees are left in the group?” instead of ” How much is 5 minus 1?” This will help the kid better understand the purpose of the exercise that they are solving.

As guardians and teachers, you must remain encouraging and understand that positive reinforcement is the key to solidifying a child’s basic knowledge. They should be able to count on their fingers and move on to learning how to count on their knuckles. None of these numbers exceeds 10 so they will have ease in learning that skill.
