Heavy vs Light Sorting Activity Worksheets
To make kids understand the difference between two different types of items and the weight they involve, the parents need to show the kids those items. Sometimes parents fill the water bottles and make the children understand the difference between a filled bottle and an empty one. Consistent administration over the children is required whenever they are trying to learn something new. Children will appreciate managing these unique activities.
In this edition, we have brought some fascinating worksheets relating to “HEAVY V/S LIGHT SORTING ACTIVITY” for the young energetic learners. Help the children to notice the difference between two items, then tell which is heavy and which is light.
Heavy v/s Light Sorting Activity
The first sheet below asks the kid to look at each item, and determine whether they are heavy or light in weight. Then cut the pictures and paste them accordingly in the following sheets. Once the children have understood the contents given in the sheet, explain to them how to cut the items and where to place them. Encourage them to make the same type of research with educational courses as well.
This sheet requires the children to paste the items in the correct category. For example- An Elephant will fall in the heavy category and a Leaf will fall in the light category. Stimulate the children to handle the elements in the worksheet with care and consider how the items are light while the others are heavy.
If the parents feel necessary, they can even make the children see the elements in real life and then ask the kids the difference. Let the children collect different sorts of understandings about light and heavy items, so that they can use their intellectual abilities to solve the sheets.
The parents and teachers need to pay attention, have some fun with the children while they investigate different items. The children will appreciate and enjoy solving such exercises. Imagine a delicate melody to use as a supplement to this exercise.
Look at the different pictures that describe heavy and light objects: paper, Bull, A Girl, Car, etc. Select objects that children are accustomed to. Support the children to attach the photos on the next sheet and have some fun.
The parents need to make sure to help the children understand the meaning and difference between the terms “heavy” and “light” so that it can be easy for the learners to solve the activity and will be able to associate them to the various parts.
Encourage the children to engage their feet in such great activities which are fun to solve. This is a transcendent consequence exercise that can be appreciated even as an association.
The parents could also illustrate pictures that are not given in the sheet, like An Almirah or a Glass, and then ask the kid to tell the difference. That could prove to be enriching for the children.
At the end of the worksheet, support the children to explain what they learned from the activity. The parents will be astonished to see how much their child can learn from such simple lessons.
This is the tenth and final worksheet of our session. The parents should also notice the fact that when they make the children work on these worksheets that the children will be having a delightful look on their faces.
