Christmas Crafts for Kids to Make at Home
1. Christmas Character Envelopes
Materials required:
- Coloured paper sheets
- Scissors
- Glue
- Envelopes.
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Get your boring white envelopes, and let’s try to make them attractive. Take some coloured paper sheets and cut different shapes out of them, eyes, nose, lips, face, head, hood as shown in the picture. Now, paste these in such a way that some funny characters are created and once you’re done just paste them on the opening of the envelopes. You can even paste these on the top of some bags to create a funky look.
2. Cute Little Flower Pots
Materials required:
- Small flower pots
- Colours
- Brushes
- Beads
- Feathery laces
- Glue
- Pom-pom
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Let’s be so creative that we don’t let anything around us look shabby. Take some mini flower pots and colour them with the help of brushes. After the colouring is done, let it dry for a while. Now, get some beads and paste them in such a way so that eyes are created. Place the pom-pom in the middle to create the nose. To add some twists, we can create antlers using feathery lace. Reindeer are ready to go.
3. Puffy Balloon Wreath
Materials required:
- Balloons
- Some strong big circular base
- Big ribbon
- Glue
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Take some balloons and blow air in them. Now take some strong circular bases and start pasting balloons on them. Create another circular layer. Now, get the ribbon and create a bow shape out of it. Place this above the balloons and the wreath is ready.
4 . Pine Cone Christmas Tree
Materials required:
- A Pine cone
- Paint
- Wooden circular block
- Glue gun
- wooden star piece
Difficulty level: Easy
Collect some pine cones from pine trees. Colour them green. Now, use other colours as well as depicted in the image. Place the wooden star on the top of the tree and fix it there with the help of a glue gun. Also, paste the circular Wooden piece with the help of a glue gun.
5. Icecream Snowflakes
Materials required:
- Ice-cream sticks
- Glitter tubes
- Shiny beads
- Glue colours
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Take some ice cream sticks, and colour them with your favorite colours. Now place the sticks in a crossed manner such that a star shape is created as shown in the picture. Now decorate them with glitter and shiny beads.
6. Lollipop Photo Frame
Materials required:
- Sparkling powder
- Ice cream stick
- Glue
- Colours ribbon.
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Print out the desired picture, and cut it, in an oval shape. Take the Ice-cream stick and apply glue to it, Now spread the glitter sparkling powder over it. Paste the picture in the center. Create a bow-shaped ribbon and fix it as shown in the image. To let the photo hung, create a hook out of another piece of ribbon and hang it.

7. Cute Ice-cream Boards
Materials required:
- Ice-cream sticks
- Glue
- Ribbon
- Buttons
- Beads
- Colours
- Pom poms
Difficulty level: Easy
Get some ice cream sticks and fix them side by side with the help of glue. Now colour them and paste the accessories like buttons, pom poms, beads as shown in the image.
8. Paper Santa And Reindeer
Materials required:
- Coloured papers
- Glue
- Scissors
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Cut the different shapes with the help of scissors. Now, paste them to form the face of Santa and the reindeer. This activity is the simplest of all and less time-consuming.
9. Glittery Slime With Heart
Materials required:
- Slime
- Glitter powder
- Glitter tube
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Take the slime and mix the glitter powder in it, Now knead it properly as shown in the picture. Make the heart shape using glitter tubes and place it at the top.
10. Paper Plate Whirligig
Materials required:
- Paper plates
- Scissors
- Colours
- Coloured paper sheet
- Thread
- Punching machine
- Pencil
Difficulty level: Easy
Take the paper plate and colour it, and draw a spiral shape on it using a pencil. Now, cut the plate according to the pencil marks drawn (spiral shape) on the paper plate. Also, punch the paper plate using a punching machine. Cut circular shapes out of coloured sheets and punch them using a punching machine.
Now pass the thread through these circular paper pieces and the holes on the plate, now hang circular pieces of paper there. Cut a star shape out of a coloured sheet and paste it at the top of the whirligig.
11 . Pipe Cleaner Wreath
Materials required:
- Pipe cleaner
- Beads
Difficulty level: Easy
Take the pipe cleaner, add beads one by one bypassing the beads through the pipe cleaner. Now bend the shape of the pipe cleaner so that a wreath shape is created. We can give it the shape of the candy as well.
12. Cute Fat Snowman
Materials required:
- Old socks
- Cotton
- Buttons
- Ribbons
- Fabric glue
- Colours
- Thread
Difficulty level: Easy
Fill the old socks with cotton so that a puffy texture is created. Tug the middle portion tightly, so that the head and the belly portion of the snowman is created. Place the buttons at the center of the belly in line with the help of fabric glue. Use colours for eyes and mouth, and the ribbon as a muffler for the snowman.
