Once upon a time, four Brahmin pupils lived in a village.

Three of them were very smart and clever.

The fourth one wasn’t good at studying but knew a lot about the world.

One day, one of the pupils had an idea. He said, “Why don’t we visit nearby kingdoms and use our intelligence to gain some fame and money?

Hearing this, everyone agreed and got ready for the journey.

On their way, they found the bones of a tiger lying on the ground.

The first pupil got excited and said, “Let’s test our knowledge by bringing this tiger back to life!

I can arrange its skeleton properly.

The second pupil said, “I can add flesh and blood to the tiger’s skeleton!”

The third pupil said, “I can awaken it from the dead!”

The fourth pupil quietly listened to their plans.

He nodded and said, “You can do whatever you want. I trust in your talent.

I am confident that you will be able to bring the tiger back to life.

But before you bring the tiger back to life, please let me climb up a tree.

I am not sure if you can control the wild tiger once it’s alive.

Tigers naturally eat meat, just like lambs eat grass. It’s not the other way around.

Hearing this, his friends laughed and called him a coward. “What a shame!

They said, “You believe in our powers, but you doubt that we can control the tiger?

If anyone can control the tiger, it’s us!”

The third pupil replied, “If you’re so sure about the outcome, then go ahead and hide.”

So, the fourth pupil ran and climbed up the tree while his friends executed their plan.

Slowly, they arranged the tiger’s bones in the right order.

They added flesh and blood and brought the tiger back to life.

The tiger sat there and let out a roar.

Suddenly, without any warning, the tiger pounced on the three pupils, killed, and ate them.

Behind the tree, the fourth pupil watched in horror. He thanked God for his conscience and common sense, which saved his life.
