Once upon a time. A woodcutter was working in his yard. Suddenly a fox came running towards him.
The fox said, “Please help me, kind woodcutter! Some hunters are chasing me. Give me a place to hide.
The woodcutter pointed towards his hut and told the fox to hide.
But he did not want to help the fox. Instead, the woodcutter made a plan to catch.
Soon the hunters came. They asked the woodcutter, “Did you see a fox?”
The woodcutter said, “No” but pointed to his hut where the fox was hiding.
The hunters didn’t understand why the woodcutter pointed towards the hut and went away in search of the fox.
As soon as the hunters left, the fox came out of the hut to leave.
That’s when the woodcutter stopped her and said, “Excuse me?
Where are your manners? You should be thankful that I saved your life!
The fox replied, “I would have thanked you if you wanted to help me.
I saw you pointing at where I was hiding to tell the hunters about my location.
What a shame! Your actions didn’t match with your sweet words.”
