Two wise ministers Mr. Just and Mr. Decepto lived in a kingdom.- Friends story

Once there lived two ministers, Mr. Just and Mr. Decepto.

Mr. Decepto feels jealous of Mr. Just’s growing wealth and respect.

Mr. Decepto was envious of Mr. Just’s wealth.

he devised a plan to get all the wealth from Mr. Just.

Mr. Decepto warns Mr. Just about thefts in the neighbourhood. - Moral story

Mr. Decepto said to Mr. Just, “My dear friend, did you hear about the theft in our neighbourhood?

Decepto advises that keeping wealth at home is unsafe.

I don’t think it is wise enough to keep our money and jewels in our houses!”

Worried Mr. Just seeks advice from his friend Decepto.

Hearing this, Mr. Just got worried. He asked for some suggestions from Mr. Decepto.

Decepto happily plans to deceive his honest friend. - moral story

Mr. Decepto was more than happy to manipulate his friend.

Decepto suggests hiding their gold and jewels in the forest.

He said, “ Let’s take all our wealth and hide it in the woods away from any thieves and goons!

He says only they will know about the hidden treasure.

No one would know anything except you and me! What say?”

The convincing tone of Mr. Decepto ensured that Mr. Just had a foolproof plan. So, he agreed to do so.

The two ministers carry their wealth to the forest.

He took all his wealth along with Mr. Decepto, who took his share as well, to the forest.

Mr. Just and Decepto dig a deep pit beside a tree.

There beside a tree, the two dug up a huge pit in which they stuffed their shares of wealth and closed it with mud again.

They cover the pit with mud and return home satisfied.

Then they returned to their respective homes.

But at night, when Mr. Just was sleeping without a wrinkle of doubt.

Decepto sneaks out silently to execute his evil plan.

Mr. Decepto snuck out of his house to complete his sinister plan.

Decepto reaches the secret forest spot under the moonlight.

So, to convince the judge, Mr. Decepto said he would like to present the god of Nature as a witness.

Judge announces the next hearing will be held in the forest.

The judge agreed and said that the next hearing will take place in the forest near the infamous pit.

Decepto confesses his crime to his father seeking help.

Mr. Decepto then went to his father and said, “Dear father, I am the actual culprit behind all of this. But please save me from this!

Decepto asks his father to hide in the hollow tree trunk. - Thief story

You just have to hide inside the hollow tree trunk beside the pit and say,

Mr. Just is the thief!” That’s it! Please, father, help me out!” - Book story

Decepto’s father hesitates but agrees out of love.

Decepto’s father was very hesitant to help his son. But he agreed to help, blinded by the love for his only son.

Father hides inside the hollow tree near the pit.

The next day, as planned, the father hid inside the hollow trunk of the tree and waited for the judge and others to come.

Judge, Mr. Just, and Decepto arrive for the forest hearing.

Then, when the court was in session, he spoke from the trunk in an elevated voice,

“Mr. Just is the thief who stole everything!” - Bedtime story

The guards arrested Mr. Decepto, and he lost everything.

Moral of the story : Cheating may win for a while, but truth always wins.
