Childhood is all about being curious about knowing new things and learning with fun and excitement.

It will be the golden days of a kid’s life if that kid learns and play together. My niece Arya is having this kind of childhood days. My niece is 6 years old and had recently joined the primary school. Daily she shares with me what she learned. Today she had learned about shapes. She was very curious about this topic. she keeps on relating each object with some shape’s name and enjoys the day of victory if it’s correct. But a lot of times she gets confused about shapes such as ovals or circles, rectangles, or squares.

On seeing her curiousness, I gifted her the booklet of KidPid named My first shapes of a book. The book contains lots of reference examples which will be a fun learning for her. Shapes are small descriptions of certain objects or things in a particular form. Its basis is learned at the age of 5 years- 7 years when a kid starts school. Some examples of shapes are circles, ovals, rectangles, trapezium, etc.

This Booklet contains all the types of shapes, with some related images and examples. It has vibrant flashcards that are attractive for them to learn. Because of this book, my niece had clarity of shape between circle and oval, the clarity between a circle and a semicircle. Also, she can well recognize that Book is of a Rectangle shape and the pages the square. She had just enhanced her knowledge and now she can name some objects with correct descriptions of their shapes. That’s when I feel it was worth gifting her this book.

Even Parents can ask their kids to define objects with shapes and if correct they can reward them. These small attempts may help them to learn fast without complexities.
