One sunny morning, Winnie-the-Pooh was hungry.
“Oh bother,” he said. “My honey pot is empty. Time to find more honey!”
He walked into the woods and saw Christopher Robin.
“Do you know where I can find honey?” Pooh asked.
“Try near Rabbit’s garden,” said Christopher Robin. “The bees
have been busy there!”
Pooh went to Rabbit’s house.
“Hello, Rabbit! Do you have any honey?” Pooh asked.
“No, Pooh,” said Rabbit. “But the bees are near the old apple tree.”
Pooh found the tree and saw a big beehive. He sang a little song
to ask for honey:

Pooh’s Honey Hunt

“Oh, buzzing bees, up in the trees,
I’d like some honey, if you please!”
The bees didn’t like the song. They chased Pooh!
He ran and ran until he saw Eeyore. “Bees!” Pooh cried.
He jumped into the river with a splash. The bees flew away.
“Thanks, Eeyore,” said Pooh. Then Piglet came by.
“I have a surprise for you, Pooh!”
Piglet gave him a small pot of honey.
“I saved it for you,” he said.
Pooh smiled and gave Piglet a big hug.
“This is the best honey ever.”
said Pooh.

Moral: Sometimes the sweetest things come from the kindness of friends, not just from chasing after what you want.
