The second one is to look at the digit to its right, which helps to decide whether to perform a roundup or down. If the value is less than 5, then we have to perform a rounddown, and if greater, then a roundup. Let’s take an example: 82,925. Now identify the ten thousand digit, which is 8, and look at its right value, which is 2, that is smaller than 5, so we have to perform a rounddown. And the rounding value of 825,925 is 80,000.
