In this exercise, there are a total of sixteen queries that kids have to perform and according to the numbers, we have to apply rounding rules. For if the number is in three digits, then we have to apply the hundred nearest rule and if the value is in four digits, then we have to apply the thousand nearest rule.

As we can see, the number is in five digits, so we have to apply the thousand nearest rule. So look at the digit in the thousand’s place (1) that is less than 5 so we need to perform a rounddown. And the rounding value for 71,467 is 70000
