First, they need to check the underlined digit, and then check its right digit. If the digit is greater than 5, that means we have to perform a round-up; otherwise, round down. Let’s take an example: 8,256. As you can see, the underlined number is 2; now check its right digit (5), which is equal to five, so as per the rule, we have to perform a round-up.
