Learning the ABCs of any language means learning the alphabets of the language. Without the knowledge of alphabets, one can never spell or sound out words. There are 26 alphabets in the English language and since it is an international language it is one of the first things young kids are taught as they embark on their learning journey.

Download and print these worksheets. Ask your student to write their name, section, teacher’s name, and the date in the provided spaces, and tell them what to do. You can hand them all of these at once or you can distribute them as classwork and homework. If you are a parent homeschooling your kid, it should be fairly easy to ask him to identify a certain alphabet from the worksheet and tell him to color it.
While the worksheet primarily focuses on teaching the alphabet to kids it can also be used to hone the coloring skills of young kids. Activities such as coloring help develop hand dexterity and motor skills, so be sure to tell your student/kid to be neat and color the alphabet properly.
Every child’s learning journey begins with learning the alphabet, the numbers, and so on. They have a short span of attention. Thus it is important to introduce teaching techniques that are engaging and fun as well as helpful in the process. Using worksheets is one such accepted technique used by many teachers and parents all around the globe. Download this worksheet and be sure to browse our website for more worksheets like this.
