Unicorn Craft For Kids

Blushing unicorn

Materials required: Canvas, colours, glitter tube, brushes.
Difficulty level: Easy
Suitable age: 9-13 years

Take a canvas sheet and draw the eyes of the unicorn on it using paintbrushes. For the horn of the unicorn, fill it with a glitter tube. Give a little tint of blush to the cheeks by applying slight reddish colour around the cheeks area. Our cute blushing unicorn is ready.

Funky unicorn notebooks

Materials required: Notebooks, glitter foam sheets, artificial flowers, glue, coloured sheets, and markers.
Difficulty level: Very easy
Suitable age: 9-14 years

Take a glitter foam sheet and paste it on the outer cover of the notebook. Using a black marker draw the eyes of the unicorn. Paste the flowers over the head area to represent the tiara. For the horn, cut the glitter foam in the shape of a triangle and paste it. For ears, cut the coloured sheet of paper according to the shape as shown in the image and paste it.

Disposable plate unicorns

Materials required: Disposable plates, coloured sheets, glitter foam, marker, artificial flowers, glue, scissors.
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Suitable age: 9-13 years

Take a disposable plate and paste some flowers on top of it. Also cut a horn shape out of a glitter foam sheet and paste it at the top. Make the ears and cheek blush from a pink-coloured sheet. Using a black marker, draw the eyes.

Unicorn pouch

Materials required: Fabric, glue gun, scissors.
Difficulty level: Easy
Suitable age: 10-14years

Cut the fabric according to the shape of a big rectangle. Now fold this rectangle so that the shape of the pouch is made. Paste the two opposite open sides of the pouch using the glue gun. Cut the extra shapes like eyes, ears etc using fabric and paste them with a glue gun. Keep your pens inside it.

Unicorn page markers

Materials required: Paper, scissors, marker.
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Suitable age: 8-13 years

Take a square sheet of paper and fold it in the middle so that a horizontal rectangle is created. Now fold this rectangle equally in the middle so that small 4 layered square shapes are made. Fold 3 squares diagonally so that a triangular shape is created. The left one square remains as such. Draw the features of the unicorn on the small triangular area as shown in the picture.

Unicorn pots

Materials required: Pots, glitter foam sheet, artificial craft flowers, glue gun, Permanent marker.

Get the pots and paste the flowers on top of them using a glue gun. Cut a triangular shape from a foam sheet and this will represent the horn of the unicorn. Draw the eyes using a permanent marker.

Get a plain mug and start drawing unicorns on it using permanent watercolours. After it dries, you can drink your coffee from it.

Take some coloured chart sheets and roll them by pasting the two opposite ends with glue. Make the ears also from the same chart paper. Get yarn and cut equal lengths of yarn strands, but the length of the yarn strands should be more than the rolled chart sheet. Paste each yarn strand inside the roll one by one so that hair is created.

Get a juice straw and decorate it by making dots using a glitter tube. Now paste this straw inside the chart roll so that it depicts the horn of a unicorn. Paste a flower at the top of the roll. Draw the eyes and blush of cheeks using sketch pens.

Unicorn hairbands

Materials required: Hairbands, glue gun, Glitter foam sheets, Craft flowers.

Take hairbands and using a glue gun paste the craft flowers at the centre. Now take the glitter sheet and cut the ear shape from it and paste it from both sides. Again take the Glitter sheet and make a cone shape out of it. Paste this cone around the horn area.

Unicorn key chains

Materials required: Fabric, glue, sketch pen, needle, thread, scissors.
Difficulty level: Easy
Suitable age: 9-13 years

Take some fabric and double-fold it. Now outline the unicorn using a sketch pen on it. Now cut this outline with the help of scissors. Stitch two same pieces of the unicorn-shaped fabric with the help of a needle. Make sure to keep some space open for filling in the cotton. Once we have filled the cotton, now stitch it well. Paste other accessories using glue.

Unicorn Sleep mask

Materials required: Fabric, Glitter sheet, artificial flowers, sewing machine.
Difficulty level: Easy
Suitable age: 10-14 years

Take the fabric and make a night mask out of it using a sewing machine. Now cut the Glitter sheet in the shape of a triangle and paste it at the top. For ears and ears, cut the ears shape and eyes shape out of fabric. Sew the artificial flowers with the help of a sewing machine.

Unicorn cushion covers

Materials required: Fabric, sewing machine, cotton.
Difficulty level: Easy

Take the fabric and double it in the shape of a square. Now stitch the two ends only with the help of a sewing machine (not opposite sides, adjacent sides). Now cut the rest of the 2 unstitched ends, in the form of tassels. Fill the cotton in the fabric and seal the unstitched ends by tying the knots of the tassels.

Materials required: Artificial pumpkin, glitter foam, scissors, markers, glue gun, Coloured sheets, colours.

Get an artificial pumpkin and paint it white. Roll the glitter foam in such a way that a cone shape is created and paste it at the top of the pumpkin. Cut the ear shape out of a coloured sheet and paste it using a glue gun around the ear area. For eyes use a marker pen.

Unicorn horn

Materials required: Bowl, mould, baking soda, cornstarch, Epsom salt, coconut oil: melted, cosmetic pigment powder, lavender essential oil.
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Suitable age: 8-12 years

Take an empty bowl and add baking soda, cornstarch, Epsom salt, coconut oil melted, cosmetic pigment powder, and lavender essential oil to it. Pigment powder is to be added in a small quantity. Mix all these ingredients and transfer this mixture into the mould. Let it dry inside the mould so that it acquires the desired shape. Once we get the shape, remove it from the mould.

Unicorn jars

Materials required: Jar, salt, permanent marker, artificial flowers, glitter foam, glue gun, paper.
Difficulty level: Easy
Suitable age: 8-12 years

Take an empty jar and fill it with white salt and close the lid. With help of a permanent marker, draw the eyes from the outer side of the jar. Cut the ears, and horn out of the glitter sheet and paste them using a glue gun at the base of the lid. Paste the artificial flowers also around the lid area using a glue gun.

Materials required: Circular containers, glitter powder, ribbons, artificial flowers, marker, liquid glue.
Difficulty level: Easy
Suitable age: 8-13 years

Take an empty circular container and fill it with glitter powder and liquid glue, shake it well and close the lid. With help of a permanent marker, draw the eyes from the outer side of the container. Cut the ears out of the glitter sheet and paste them using a glue gun. Paste the artificial flowers also around the lid area using a glue gun. Twist the two ribbons to look like unicorn horns.

Cute pebble unicorn

Materials required: Oval pebbles, acrylic paint, paintbrush, permanent marker.
Difficulty level: Very Easy
Suitable age: 9-13 years

Collect some oval-shaped small pebbles, and paint them using acrylic paints. With the help of a marker, draw the unicorn on it and fill it again with the paint using paintbrushes.
