If there’s a 4 digit number then the last digit is on one’s place. The last second digit is on ten’s place. The last third letter is on hundred’s place and the the first digit is on the thousands place. For example 1974 is a number so 4 is at one’s place, 7 is at ten’s place, 9 is at hundred’s place and 1 is at thousand’s place. The place increases with the increase in digits.
